This song came with a vision of many different cultures singing praises to Yeshua together on a beach. The implication of the song to me is of a childlike faith that tears down walls that come from pride in it's many forms including nationalism and denominationalism. The key is relationship with Yehsua which is possible because of what He did for us at Golgatha.
Jamaican Praise Song (Like the Children)
C F
Like the children we will follow You
G C
Like the children we'll trust in You!
F
You who made us; paved the way for us
G C
Heavens Gates are made wide through You
F C
With the chorus of angel's song
G C
In grateful praise as we sing
F C
For Whose Glory we to Him belong
G C
As the Kids of the King
C F
Join the anthem of those before us
G C
Who've seen the pris'ner has been set free
F
Who by the faith in Life Everlasting
G C
Have learned that Grace is a mystery
F C
For by the Blood that was shed for us
G C
The walls will all fall down
F C
When we like children gather 'round His Throne
G C
Casting Crowns on the ground
C F
So let us go forth with loving kindness
G C
And shine His Light so the world can see
F
How the Master who walked among us
G C
Gave His Life on Calv'ry's tree
F C
And by His Pure Spotless Sacrifice
G C
Paid the price for our sin
F C
On the third day He rose from death
G C
So we could be born again (2x)
