This song was written on the day of the lunar eclipse.  Only I did not know that there was supposed to be a lunar eclipse until I looked up into the sky that night and saw it.  St.  Augustine believed that the moon was put into the sky in order to remind us that the Bride of the Messiah reflects his Light on the earth.  I believe he is right.  There is much strong biblical basis for his belief.  So when you look up into the sky and see the moon turning blood red from a lunar eclipse you know that there is a portion of the church who is facing bloody deadly persecution.  Remember them with me in prayer this November 9.

In the Strangest Places

Will Your loving Kindness be declared in the grave?
Or Your Faithfullness in the place of doom?
Will Your Wonders be known in the dark?
And Your Righteousness?
Or will we all forget?

Refrain:
Jesus
Name above all Names
Higher than the Highest
Greater than the Grave
I cry out to You
More than lover or friend
You'll be faithful and True
Until the very end
Oh Lord

Why do you cast off my soul to bleed?
Oh Lord
And hide Your Face from me in my hour of need?
Afflicted and distraught from my youth
Hear my cry oh Lord and don't let me forget!
(refrain)
