I suppose this is a, "He that has ears to hear..." sort of thing.  It was written about one week before those tornadoes hit in February 2008.  I don't think there is a connection.  I think that the east wind is going to hit the east coast of the United States and I also think that the east wind is already silently destroying and eating away at our government and culture from the inside out.  It's not just a prophecy but a song of consolation that I rock myself with when I am destressed at the east wind.  I'm reminded of the words of Messiah, "All of these things must come to pass but the end is not yet..."

NOTE:  No your eyes are not deceiving you.  This epigraph used to be longer.  I trucated the ending because a friend of mine once told me, "Do not interpret God's words but to let them speak for themselves."  Thank you Joe for that advice.  I apologize for my pride and shall try harder to do what is right.

When the East Wind Blows

When the east wind blows

When the tides will rise, oh Lord

For the time of wrath and yet a time of peace and love

If America forgets her God

Who will be a prophet for us?

When the morning comes

And you wonder what it's all about...

Remember your First Love

And take the hand that's reaching out

For the voice of fifty thousand strong

Will sing Your Praise

Receive Your Grace

When the judgement comes

And awakes revival in us
