This song has been written for a long time now (about three months). Immediately after writing a song of repentance from idolotry the song itself became an idol. I am at the present unable to publish the recording of it because my laptop harddrive burned up.

Golden Let Down

When our idols let us down

When they burn a hole in the sky

Will we seek You then?

Will we even wonder why?

Or will we stoop and bow

Before the golden god that we've made

And call the third world names

For whom the Son of Man came to save?

Dwell in us today

You who paid the price for our sin

Wipe our tears away

Purify Your house from within

Until the golden god disappear
